LaMoyne Gorby, 70, of Hundred, WV died Thursday, March 30, 2006 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center in Cameron, WV.
Mr. Gorby was born August 9, 1935 on Wolfe Run, near Littleton, WV a son of the late Harry Damon Gorby and Donis B. Snyder Gorby.
LaMoyne was a retired plumber and pipefitter, was a Christian by Faith and was a member of Local 152/Morgantown and Local 83/Wheeling.
Surviving are his wife, Billie Lee Yoho Gorby; three sons & spouses, Brad & Denise Gorby of Waynesburg, PA, Tom & Gina Gorby and Chris & Rona Gorby, all of Hundred; two daughters and spouses, Kathy & Bob Arbogast of Mannington and Cindy & Tom Goodwin of Sycamore, PA; two brothers & spouses, Roger & Barbara Gorby of Aiken, SC and Terry & Kathy Gorby of Hundred; two sisters & spouses, Sharon & Harry Glover of Martinsburg, WV and Donna F. & Harold Rosencrance of North Augusta, SC; and eleven grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother.
At the request of the deceased his body will be cremated.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, April 2, 2006 at the Truth Assembly Chapel near Wadestown, WV with the Pastor Tim Brower officiating.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
