Leo Miller, 88, of Knob Fork, WV died Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center.

He was born December 4, 1927 at Wileyville, WV, a son of the late John W. Miller and Christina Cain Miller.

Leo was a retired laborer.He was a member of the Laborer’s Local #1149 out of Wheeling.He was an avid farmer.He was an honorary member of the Hundred FFA Chapter.He smoked the hams and bacons for the students for more than 30 years.He was a veteran of the United States Army.

Leo was a member of the Hundred Church of Christ.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Katie M. Wykert Miller who he married on November 26, 1954; two sons and their spouses, Edmund Miller and his wife Katie of Dayton, OH and Charles Miller and his wife Amy of Knob Fork; five grandchildren, Becky Quinn, Beth Anne Royer, Mathew Miller, Ashley Miller, and Cole Miller; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers, Albert Miller, Otis Miller, Wilbert Miller, and John W. Miller, Jr., and three sisters, Amanda Kuhn, Hazel Moore, and Geneva George.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 5-8 PM Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Anderson-Bethel Cemetery near Littleton.
