Lillian Garrison, 86, of Walla Walla, Washington, formerly of Hundred, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 in the Odd Fellows Home in Walla Walla, WA.

She was born September 6, 1918 in Greene County, Pennsylvania to William David and Haddie Gwynn Hall. A 1936 graduate of Blacksville High School, she married Robert Maple Garrison of Wadestown, WV in 1939.

They moved to Richland, Washington, 1944 during construction of Hanford. Upon retirement in 1970, they returned to West Virginia. However, they visited Richland and Seattle often to be with their daughters and their families. Bob died in 1986, and Lillian was finally convinced to return to Richland in 2002 to enjoy her final years. Her health declined and in 2004 she moved to the Odd Fellows Home. Lillian was a mother and homemaker and a great cook---we'll especially remember her pecan rolls, raisin-filled cookies, and popcorn balls.

Lillian joined the Rebekah Lodge in 1942 in West Virginia, and later became a member of All States Rebekah Lodge #319 when it was formed in Richland--attaining the rank of Noble Grand in both lodges. She was a member of LEA #66 in Kennewick, with the rank of Chief Matriarch. She was active in church cirles at C.U.P. Church in Richland, and a member of the Rush Run United Methodist Church in Hundred. She was greatly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughters, Joretta "Susie" Pritchett and husband Bob of Richland, WA; Nancy "Sally" Foster and husband Tom of Des Moines, WA; Patty Foster and husband Ed of West Richland, WA; and Mary Jo Miller of Lewisburg, Ohio. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Scott, Laura, David, Molly, Dana, and Becky; and four great-grandchildren, Brianna, Garrison, Robbie, and Karen Nicole; a special sister-in-law, Ruby Hall of Hundred, WV and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the nurses in "West Care" at the Odd Fellows Home for their kindness to Mom and our families. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington Odd Fellows Home, 534 Boyer Ave, Walla Walla, WA 99362 or to the Hundred Senior Citizens, PO Box 151, Hundred, WV 26575.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30 PM Sunday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Lillian will be buried next to her husband Bob in the Wadestown Cemetery, Wadestown, WV.
