Linda Joyce Moore, 60, of Core, WV died Sunday, July 20, 2008 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born May 13, 1948 at Mt. Morris, PA, a daughter of the late Russell Walls and Isabelle Ammons Walls.
Linda was a homemaker, and her hobbies included, reading, quilting, and she loved to travel to the Amish country to look at crafts. She attended the Bula Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, of 44 years, Charles R. "Charlie" Moore, whom she married on December 7, 1964; one son Curtis Moore, of Core; one daughter & son-in-law, Penny and Brad Holmes of Jakes Run; one brother, Bob Walls of Core; one sister, Brenda Eddy of Blacksville; and two grandchildren, Travis Holmes and Candace Holmes, both of Jakes Run.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Martha "Pee-Wee" Varner.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
