Lloyd (Bub) James Robinson, 87, of Cameron, died Monday, February 11, 2013 in the Cameron Continuous Care Center.
Bub was born October 19, 1925 at Knob Fork, a son of the late Walter James and Anna Jane Keenan Robinson.
Mr. Robinson was retired from the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Lucille Robinson, two infant daughters, Verna and Janet; one brother, Wilbur Robinson; and three sisters, Wilda Ebert, Ruby Zink, and Edna Goff.
Surviving are his children; two sons, Delmas Robinson and his wife Jolien of Moundsville, Norman Robinson and his wife Sharon of Belton, two daughters, Cathy Howard of Cameron and Karen Stern of Augusta, WV; eight grandchildren, Thomas Robinson and his wife Angela of Jacobsburg, OH, Richard Robinson and his wife Heather of Moundsville, David Robinson and his wife Arianne of Cameron, Brian Robinson of Cameron, Melissa Koher and her husband Brian of Ravenna, OH, Rebecca Murphy and her husband John of Garrison, PA, Craig Howard of Hendersonville, NC, and Christopher Stern of Cameron; fifteen great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul Robinson of Morgantown; and one sister, Thelma Gaudio of Follansbee.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 4-8 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Rev. Doug Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Jolliffe Cemetery at Silver Hill.
