Lois E. Stant, 85, of Wileyville, WV died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville.
She was born October 1, 1923 in New Orleans, LA, a daughter of the late Dominick Paretti and Alice Armstrong Paretti.
Lois was a homemaker and she was Catholic by faith. Lois moved to the Hundred area after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans.
Surviving are four sons, Paul Marchetta of Wileyville, Jude Marchetta of Houston, TX, Dominick Marchetta of Little Rock, AK, and Billy Maines of Bowling Green, KY; two daughters, Bonnie Maines of Metarie, LA and Dellann Boggess of Wileyville; sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four sons, John Stant, Louie Stant, Keith Stant, and Russell Tannich; and several brothers and sisters.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
