Lorena Stubblefield, 54, of Cassville, WV died Monday, October 3, 2005 in the Monongalia General Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born July 12, 1951 at Morgantown, WV a daughter of the late Albert L. Starkey and Esther Lough Varner.
Mrs. Stubblefield was a nurse who provided care for the elderly and was a methodist by faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Angelique M. Stubblefield of Cleveland, Ohio; a friend, Jimmy Swiger of Clarksburg; two brothers, Dexter Starkey of Shriver and James W. Varner of Cassville; and four sisters, Sharon Starkey of Huntington, Geraldine Stevens of Elkins, Homera Ball of Shriver, and Miriam (Birdie) Muckus of Cassville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Homer Varner; two brothers and two sisters.
There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. Services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
