LOWELL “PETE” DARLING

          Lowell “Pete” Darling, 84, of Pentress, WV died Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.

          He was born February 11, 1941 at Pentress, a son of the late Glenn Darling and Martha Virginia Lemley Darling.

          Mr. Darling was a retired Union Laborer with more than 50 years of service.

          Surviving is his wife, Virgina Colleen Black Darling; one son and his wife, Joseph Glenn Darling and his wife Pamela of Core; and two granddaughters, Morgan Darling and Reagan Darling.

          In addition to his parents, Pete was preceded in death by an infant sister, Janice Maxine Darling.

          Friends and family may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 22, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
