Madelyn V. Potts, 94, of Fairmont, WV died Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Pleasant Acres Christian Haven in Fairmont.
She was born March 22, 1924 at Coburn, WV, a daughter of the late Spencer Dewey Taylor and Mollie Miller Taylor.
Mrs. Potts was a homemaker and member of the Oakwood Road Church of Christ.
Surviving is one daughter and son-in-law, Sheila Kincell and husband Charlie of Fairmont; one brother, Dewey Taylor, a resident of the Genesis-New Martinsville nursing facility; and a sister-in-law and her husband, Susie and Larry Dent of Wileyville.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John Potts who died on August 1, 2014 and a daughter, Tonya Lynn Potts.
All services will be private with Evangelist Brent Gallagher officiating. Interment will follow in Paden Memorial Gardens in Paden City, WV.
The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
