Margaret Jean Singer, 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio died Friday, February 24, 2006 in the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown.
She was born March 8, 1926 in Burton, WV a daughter of the late, Russell Yost and Margaret Sole Yost.
Mrs. Singer was a graduate of Hundred High School in 1943. She graduated from West Liberty State College in 1947 as a Dental Hygienist and continued to work as a hygienist until she retired in 1998.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wyoming in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Surviving are one brother, Albert B. Yost of Burton; step-children, John K. Singer, Joanie Boothby, and Jennifer Hatcher. Also, surviving are two nephews, Eric K. Yost of Burton and Albert B. Yost, II of Morgantown; and two great-nieces, Amy Yost and Melody Ashcraft; step-grandchildren, Tracy Singer, Ryan Hatcher and Tony Singer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James K. Singer; one brother, Franklin R. Yost, one sister, Lula Lee Ashcraft, and one nephew, Russell Lewis Ashcraft.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2:00 to 3:00 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 3:00PM with the Pastor Linda Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton, WV.
