Mark Alan Bane, 49, of Blacksville, WV died Monday, April 3, 2006 at his residence following a lengthly illness.
He was born April 28, 1956 at Morgantown, WV a son of the late Junior Joseph Bane and Mary Louise Throckmorton Bane.
Mark was a Licensed Practical Nurse. He worked in the emergency department at West Virginia University Hospital for many years. He was a protestant by faith.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Porter Bane; two sons, Adam Seth Bane and Philip Joel Bane, both of Blacksville; three half-brothers, Loran Bane of Denver, NC, Francis "Butch" Throckmorton of MacDale, and Herbert K. Throckmorton of Pentress; and one sister, Susan E. Meyers of Wellsville, MO.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Lloyd Throckmorton.
At the request of the deceased, his body will be cremated.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, April 5, 2006 at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville with the Rev. Joe West officiating.
