Mark "Roger" Eddy, 49, of Core, WV went home to the Lord, Friday, July 29, 2005 at his residence.
He was born June 15, 1956 in Core, WV a son of Mark Vernon and Betty Annalee Davis Eddy.
He was a member and deacon of Doll's Run Christian Church in Core and also attended Bula Baptist Church in Bula.
Roger graduated from Clay-Battelle High School in 1975. He worked at Sterling Faucet Co. from 1975 until he retired in 1994 to work full time doing what he loved most, farming with his father.
He was an avid bowler, most recently on the Friday Night Mixed and the Sunday Night Mixed Leagues at Suburban Lanes. He was a member of the West Virginia Farm Bureau for 20 years.
Roger is deeply loved by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Donna Rae Miller Eddy; one son, Christopher Paul Eddy of Core; his parents, Mark Vernon and Betty Annalee Davis Eddy; a sister and spouse, Carol and Neil Tennant also of Core; Two brothers and sisters-in-laws; Everett and Connie Miller of Seale, Alabama and Gary and Helen Miller of Masontown, WV; two nieces, one nephew, two great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with the Pastor Jim Freeland officiating. Interment will follow in the Eddy Cemetery on Jakes Run.
