Marvin Milliron, 80, of Mooresville, WV died Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence.
He was born October 18, 1935 in Morgantown, a son of the late Orie J. Milliron and Leona Mae Stackhouse Milliron.
Marvin was a retired coal miner who last worked as a motorman. He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Milliron was baptized in the Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Jean Moore Milliron, to whom he had been married for 58 years; one son and spouse, Raymond Milliron and his wife Tami of Jakes Run; two daughters and their spouses, Vanessa Milliron of Jakes Run and Jeannie Evans and husband Ron of Beckley; one brother, Nick; one sister, Alice; two grandchildren, Brandy Goysobich and Christopher Milliron; two great-grandchildren, Audrina Milliron and Sophia Goysobich; and his cat, Misty.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Randy Milliron; and one brother, Thomas Milliron.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
