Mary E. DeBolt, 84, of New Freeport, PA died Sunday, June 8, 2008 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown following a brief illness.
She was born December 31, 1923 at Ned, PA a daughter of the late Dewey Pierce and Huldah Warrick Pierce.
Mary was housewife and homemaker.
Surviving are one son, David DeBolt of New Freeport, PA; two daughters, Marsha Gary and Pam Hunt, both of New Freeport, PA; four brothers, James Pierce of New Freeport, Francis Pierce of Colliers, WV, Frank Pierce, and Russell Pierce of New Freeport; three sisters, Junie Johnson of New Freeport, Lillie Mae Yoders of New Freeport, and Rosalee Pierce of Ohio; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard "Joe" DeBolt; one son, Larry DeBolt; three brothers, George Pierce, Charles Pierce, and Thomas Lee Pierce; and one sister, Mildred Pierce.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Thomas Cemetery at Ned, PA.
