Mary M. Jones, 80, ofSandyville, WV, formerly of Hundred, WV died Monday, April 16, 2001 in the Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, WV.
She was born April 6, 1921 in Fairview a daughter of the late Cora Lough.
Mrs. Jones was a housewife and homemaker.She was a member of the Littleton Church of God.
Surviving are three sons, Richard P. "Rick" Jones of Hundred, WV , William "Bill" Jones of Hagerstown, MD and Jack Jones of Tuscaloosa, Alabama;a daughter, Janice "Tiny" Smith of Sandyville, WV with whom she made her home; two brothers, Don Clayton of Alexandria, Louisiana and Tom Clayton of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Doris Price of Fairview and Alice Phillips of Mt. Storm, PA; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Chancy Jones; a son, John Jones; a daughter, Candy Jean Jones; two brothers, Henry Clayton and Cecil Lough; and a sister, Dorothy Clayton.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday, April 17, 2001.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Arles Wade officiating.Interment will follow in the Shriver Cemetery near Hundred.
