Mary Sollars, 93, of Mount Morris, PA died Sunday, December 25, 2016 at her residence.
She was born October 1, 1923 at Elk Garden, WV, a daughter of the late George Sayers and Bessie Shepphard Sayers.
Mrs. Sollars was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Surviving are two sons and their spouses, Thomas and Martha Sollars of Blacksville and George Sollars and his companion Roxana Thompson of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; four grandchildren and their spouses, Cathy and Bill Patterson of Burton, William and Tanya Sollars of Core, Christopher Sollars of Myrtle Creek, OR, and Rhonda Sollars and her partner, Rick Fiske of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Sollars, who died on October 29, 2013; and three sisters and five brothers.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with Pastor Edward Woods officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
