MARY SUE TENNANT
Mary Sue Tennant, 87, of Daybrook, died Sunday, October 12, 2025 at her residence.
She was born January 16, 1938 on Days Run, near Daybrook, a daughter of the late Jesse Paul Willard and Laura B. Varner Willard.
Mrs. Tennant was a homemaker. She attended the Mooresville Church of Christ.
Surviving is her husband of 70 years, Fayne Tennant; one son and his wife, Rodney Tennant and his wife Janice of Jakes Run; one daughter and her husband, Paulette Phillips and her husband Jim of Spraggs, PA; one brother, George Willard of Cassville; three grandchildren, Autumn Lindsay, Leland Tennant, and Selena Phillips; and two great-grandchildren, Cutler Tennant and Grace Lindsay.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard P. Willard; one sister, Betty Saab; and one grandson, Steven Phillips.
All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Tennant will be buried in the Daybrook Cemetery.
The Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville is in charge of arrangements.
