MELVIA J. TENNANT
Melvia Jean Tennant, 86, of Morgantown, WV died Wednesday, November 4, 2026 at the home she shared with her daughter.
She was born January 25, 1940 in Morgantown, a daughter of the late Walter Morton and Margaret Brelove Morton.
Mrs. Tennant was retired from Ruby Memorial Hospital where she had worked at the information desk.
Surviving is one son, Delbert Tennant, Jr. of Owington, KY; one daughter, Rebecca Tennant of Morgantown; three sisters, Sue Milik of Morgantown, Ileen Mateo of Jakes Run, and Kathleen Castel of Florida.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Glenn Tennant; one brother, Walter Morton; and one sister, Joyce Eaglen.
At the request of the deceased there will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. All services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
