Michael L. Strosnider, 49, of Blacksville, WV died Sunday, January 9, 2005 at his residence.
He was born October 3, 1955 at Waynesburg, PA a son of the late Walter "Pinky" Strosnider and Lucille Hockenberry Strosnider.
Mike attended West Virginia University and majored in history. He was currently doing archeological work as an archeological assistant. He was a 1973 graduate of Clay-Battelle High School. He was a United States Navy veteran.
Surviving are two sisters, Joleen Hardeman of Pasadena, MD and Ann Bragg of Blacksville. Several nieces and nephews and their spouses; Bobbi Jo Collet and her fiance', Billy Jack, Jeff Rush and his wife, Mary Alice Rush, Garry Rush, and Denita Smith; several great nieces and nephews including Gage Jack; numerous cousins including, Barbara Rack, Janet Fisher, and Pat Cotton; several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Strosnider, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Wednesday with the Rev. David Lancaster officiating. Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
