Nancy Kay Boserman Beach Davis, of 253 Jakes Run Road, Core, WV passed to her eternal home on December 23, 2013. At the time of her death she was surrounded in the love of her family.
She was born on July 24, 1937 at Junior, WV, the daughter of the late Delbert Boserman and Lena McDonald Boserman.
Nancy was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She retired from WV University Hospital as a station clerk on the surgical ICU.
Surviving are her loving husband, Paul Davis; three sons, Robert D. Beach and wife Rachel of Morgantown, Brian C. Beach and his wife Stacey or Core, Russell C. Beach and his wife Andrea of Core; three daughters, Lena Kay and husband Michael Glowacky of Morgantown, Belinda Rae and husband Lee Brown of Core, and Rhonda S. and husband John Croston of Core; step-daughter, Renee and husband Zane Anderson of Monona, WI; step-son, Michael Davis and wife Stacy of Deerfield, WI; one sister, Sue and husband James Phillips of Henderson, NV; and several cousins, brothers and sisters-in-laws; nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are twenty grandchildren, Jennifer and husband Michael Badzek of Blokeelia Florida, Melanie and husband Eric West of Carthage, Tennessee, Courtney Beach and Fiance' Luke, Bob Beach, Sam Beach, Mickey Glowacky, Robert Glowacky, and Katie Glowacky of Morgantown, Kimberly and husband Tim Thorne of Fairmont, Stephanie and husband Brandin Sullivan of Ocala, Florida, Sarah Beach, Christopher Brown, and Anna Brown all of Core, Katrina LeMasters and husband Eddie LeMasters of Morgantown, Nicole and husband David Townsend of Morgantown, John Croston Jr. of Core, Teresa and husband Brian Plum of Hagans, RJ Beach and Fiance' Morgan, Tiffany Beach, and Randi Beach, all of Core.
She also has five step-grandchildren, Kristen Anderson, Kelsey and husband Jonah Reason,Kourtney Anderson, Kyle Davis, and Kevin Davis, all of Wisconsin.
Also surviving are twelve great-grandchildren, Deana, Breana, Nathan and Brandon Townsend of Morgantown, Eddy Ray LeMasters and Beau Beach both of Core, Matthew Rodeheaver II of Hagans, Kendal Sullivan of Ocala, FL, Everett West of Carthage, TN, and Gavin Anderson of Hartland, WI. Mrs. Davis also has two great-grandchildren to be born in the very near future, Christine Spitznogle of Core and Michael Francis Bedzak, IV of Bokeelia, Florida.
Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Robert C. Beach, who died on April 6, 1998.
The family would like to give a special "thank you" to Generations Eldercare and to staff members Ada and Dawn. Also a special thanks to Kim from Amedisys Hospice. All are thanked for the care and compassion show to Nancy and her family during her stay at Generations Eldercare.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor John Brosky officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
