Nancy Louise Saxon, 75, of Daybrook, died Friday, May 10, 2013 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
She was born September 29, 1937 at Morgantown, a daughter of the late John L. Lewis and Maggie Bell Lewis.
Mrs. Saxon was a foster mother.
Surviving are two sons, David Richard "Rick" Saxon and Charles E. "Chuck" Saxon, III, both of Daybrook; four daughters, Penny McCary of Akron, Ohio, Charlene Bell Mitchell of Dilliner, PA, Nanette Kimberly Crider of Fairmont, and Melanie Hops Mills of Sabraton; one brother, Clyde L. Lewis of Mooresville; one half-sister, Charlotte Tennant of Baltimore, MD; a foster-son, William K. Heston; ex-husband, Charles E. Saxon, Jr. of Star Junction, PA; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Lewis; two sisters, Grace Mayle and Betty Price; and a son, Randy E. Saxon, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-9 PM Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Wednesday with the Rev. Freddie Eddy, II officiating. Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.
