Nellie Wright, 56, Burton, WV went to be with the Lord at her home on Middle Fork Road on Wednesday, October 11, 2006.
She was born October 20, 1949 near Wadestown, WV; a daughter of the late Jacob C. Strosnider and Thelma C. Morris Strosnider.
Nellie worked at the Sundale Nursing Home in Morgantown as a CNA for 10 years. She was a member of the Golden Glow Rebekah Lodge of Wadestown and was a former member of the Wadestown and Burton Tops Clubs. Nellie was a member of the West Warren Baptist Church of Wadestown.
Surviving are her husband of 31 years, Larry Wright; two sons & spouses, John Cox and his wife Angie of Wadestown and Jeffery Cox and his wife Carrie of Burton; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Chisler and her husband Billy of Wadestown; one brother, Larry Strosnider of Weirton; one sister and spouse, Freda Stiles and her husband James of Wadestown; four grandchildren, Nancy Bland, Timothy Cox, Zachary Cox, and Daniel Cox; and one great-grandchild, Angela Bland.
She was loved by many people and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday in the Grace Fellowship Church at Wana with the Pastor Steve Edwards, Pastor Tim Brower, and Pastor Jack Snoderly officiating.
Interment will follow in the Eakin-Wana Memorial Cemetery at Wana, WV.
