Pauline B. Whitehill, 94, of (Sugar Run Road) Littleton, WV died Saturday, October 11, 2003 in the New Martinsville Health Care Center in New Martinsville.

She was born July 15, 1909 at (Sugar Run) near Littleton, WV a daughter of the late William C. Black and Ethel Queen Stewart Black.

Mrs. Whitehill was a co-founder of the Hundred Public Library and was very active with the Wetzel County Farm Bureau having served for 15 years as secretary-treasurer.She was a member of the Crossroads Homemakers Club, the VFW Ladies Auxillary of both the Morgantown and the Earl Kiger American Legion Post # 120 of Hundred.She was a Methodist by faith.She was a graduate of Littleton High School and Fairmont Business College.

Surviving are two sons and spouses, Jack and Nancy Whitehill of Littleton and Charles and Rebecca Whitehill of Keyser; seven grandchildren and spouses, Shelley and Charles Moffatt of Fairmont, John and Chandie Whitehill of Burton, William L. Whitehill of St. Louis, MO, Dale Whitehill of Neosho, MO, Scott Whitehill of Joplin, MO, Andy Bob Whitehill of Kansas City, MO and Charles Whitehill of Annapolis, MD; several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leo Whitehill and two sons, George William Whitehill and Robert D. Whitehill.

Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 and 7-9 PM Sunday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral at 1:30 PM Monday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Eakins-Wana Memorial Cemetery at Wana, WV.
