Rae Postlethwait
Zelphia Rae Postlethwait, 80, of Cameron, WV died Thursday, December 4, 2025 in Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale. She was born February 6, 1945 to the late Burnis Pyles in Silver Hill, WV.
Rae spent her life as a mother and homemaker.
Surviving is one son, Sherwood Pyles of Cameron, WV; one daughter, Nila Cumpston of Moundsville, WV; three grandchildren, Derek Cumpston, Madison Lauer, and Brain Belfry; three great-grandchildren, Bo Kubancik, Nora Lauer, and Oaklynn Cumpston; and one brother, Leland Pyles of Cameron, WV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Tony Pyles, Tim Pyles, and Tom Pyles; and her late husband, Norman “Pete” Postlethwait.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, West Virginia from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, December 8, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM after the visitation with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery outside of Littleton, WV.
