Ralph C. Wagner, 80, of Wana, WV died Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at his residence.
He was born May 9, 1926 at Belington, WV, a son of the late David Wagner and Nannie Adkins Wagner.
Mr. Wagner was a retired coal miner. He worked at the Bethlehem Steel Corp Barrackville Mine #41. He retired with over 35 years in the mining industry. He was a member of District #31, United Mine Workers of America. He was a United States Army veteran who served in World War II and was a member of the Earl Kiger American Legion Post #120 of Hundred.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara Hostutler Wagner, five daughters, Lillian Wagner of Wana, Roxie Lucas of Beckley, Edis Miller of Brave, PA; and Nancy and Barbara; two brothers, two half-sisters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Ralph Glenn Wagner and a half-sister.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 7-9 PM Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Wana, WV.
