Reitha M. Bokis, 92, of Morgantown, WV formerly of Blacksville, WV died Friday, June 22,2007 in the Horizon Personal Care Home in Fairchance, PA.

She was born October 10, 1914 at Palestine, WV.

Mrs. Bokis and her late husband owned and operated the Silver Dollar Bar in Blacksville for several years. She was a Christian by faith and attended churches of all faiths. Prior to moving to Morgantown she was a Blacksville Senior Center volunteer and she was a senior Monongalian. Reitha was a Silver Haired Delegate to the West Virginia State Legislature.

Surviving are one daughter, Lois Chapman Davison of Peterborough, England; two granddaughters, Amy Chapman of Boca Raton, Florida and Katy Chapman of Chicago, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Steve Bokis who died on October 23, 1979; one daughter, Joan Bokis who died in 1953; two brothers, Chester Bean and Paul Bean; and one sister, Ruth Trovato.

Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Monday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
