Rex Littell, 81, of Hundred, WV died Monday, August 20, 2007 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born May 6, 1926, at Knob Fork, WV, the son of the late Charles Russell and Nellie O. White Littell.
Rex was a retired long-time pipeliner, former operator and half owner of J & R Trucking in Hundred and former owner of Rex's Lumber Shed in Hundred. He was a member of the Operator and Engineer's union.
Surviving are his daughter, Kris and her husband Jack Yost of Wellsburg, WV; his former wife, Myrle Littell of Wellsburg, three grandchildren, Jay Yost and his wife Amie of Wheeling, Alicia Yost of Wellsburg and Ryan Yost of Columbianna, OH; and great-grandchildren, Brittany and Nicholas of Wellsburg; his brother, Joe Littell and his wife Eilene of Knob Fork.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel E. Littell.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Evangelist Steve Stevens. Cremation will follow the services.
