RICHARD A. TENNANT
Richard Adrian Tennant, 68, of Blacksville, WV died Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at his residence.
He was born November 16, 1952 at East Liverpool, Ohio, a son of the late Kenneth A. Tennant and Jane Lemley Tennant.
Rich was retired from the sales department at Lowe’s. He was a member of the Valley Chapel United Methodist Church of Wadestown.
Surviving is his wife of 41 years, Penny Sue Johnson Tennant; two daughters and their spouses, Angie Costello and her husband Craig of Blacksville, and Brandi Wolfe of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Adrian Costello and Asten Costello; two step-grandchildren, Nick Harris and Tiffanie Harris; and a host of cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6-8 PM on Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Rev. Rose Saunders and Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
The family is asking that everyone who attends please wear a mask and practice social distance guidelines. Also, please limit your time at the funeral home.

Penny, So sorry for your loss. I wish we could have been there. Rich was a very close friend for nearly all of his life. I have many fond memories of taking him out hunting when he was a boy...and for many years after. I will miss him also.
I am so greatly saddened by the news of Rich's passing. I will always remember all of the fun we had on the farm and getting to stay with him and Penny in Ohio. He will be greatly missed. All my love and prayers to Penny, Angie and Brandi. May God be a comfort to you at this time.
