Richard Earl Bragg, 71, of Burton, WV died Sunday, March 8, 2015 in the UPMC Montefiore Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
He was born October 27, 1943 at Blacksville, WV, a son Mary Jane Wood Beard of Spraggs, PA and the late Early Bragg.
Mr. Bragg was a retired supervisor for Peabody Coal Company. He also worked for Ver-Don Construction Company.
Richard was a former member of the Truth Assembly Chapel of Wadestown.
Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Clise Bragg; four sons, Richie Bragg of Indian Harbor Beach, FL, Mike Bragg of Miracle Run, David Bragg of Fairmont, and Sean Bragg of Blacksville; two daughters, Terri Hall of MacDale and Joni Rowan of Fairmont; one brother, Larry Bragg of Jakes Run; two sisters, Dottie Wilson and Cathy Bragg, both of Spraggs; twelve grandchildren, Andrea Bragg, Joshua Bragg, Emily Bragg, Brandon Bragg, Nick Bragg, Tanner Bragg, Tyler Bragg, Caelynn Bragg, Hailey Hall, Hannah Hall, Hayden Hall, and Charlotte Everd.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 6-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with the Rev. Rose Saunders officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
