Richard Lee "Rick" Patton, II, 44, of Littleton, Colorado died March 24, 2005 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
Rick was born January 14, 1961 in Charleston, WV a son of the late Richard "Dick" Lee Patton and Paula Carron Patton of Phoenix, Arizona.
He graduated from Tyee High School in Seattle, Washington and earned a technical science certificate from Bellevue College in Bellevue, WA. He later graduated from Bates Technical Institute in Tacoma, WA with a communications degree. Rick obtained his FCC licensing in June of 1981. In 1983 he moved to Juneau, AK and worked for KTOO public television as the master control board operator along with satellite receiving and recording. Rick finished his career in Denver Co. with United Cable/TCI cable company as the Head Programer. Recently he has been staying in Morgantown where he was receiving medical treatment.
In addition to his mother, he was also survived by his sister, Carron Dawn Patton of Phoenix, AZ, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services and burial will be held at the Resthaven Park Chapel and Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
Local arrangements were handled by the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV.
