Ricky D. Poe, 60, of Cameron, WV died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born August 4, 1955 in Jasper, Indiana a son of the late Drexel U. Poe and Norma Jean Hudson Poe.
Rick was retired from the West Virginia Department of Highways where he had worked for 35 years.He had worked as the crew leader in Cameron before working in Moundsville as the Highway Administrator.
Mr. Poe was a member of the Cameron Lodge #17, AF & AM, Osiris Shriners of Wheeling; and the Sons of the American Legion Post #194 of Cameron.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry Barnette Poe; three daughters and their spouses, Shawn Rae Poe of Evansville, IN, Anna Lough and husband Trent of Hundred, and Brandy Yoho and husband Jay of Silver Hill; one brother and his wife, Mark Poe and Sandy of Burton; seven grandchildren, Cheyenne DeBolt, Samantha DeBolt, Savannah Horner, Casen Lough, Jeffery Yoho, Ricky Yoho, and Dori Yoho; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Poe, who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 3-9 PM Saturday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Sunday. Interment will follow in the Rice Ridge Cemetery near Littleton.
