Robert M. Russell, 74, of Waynesburg, PA died Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at Southwestern Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg, PA.
He was born July 11, 1934, a son of the late Earl Russell and Rosa Anna Wise Russell.
Mr. Russell was retired from Sterling Faucet where he worked for more than 35 years. He was very active in all types of civic and community activities. He was a member of the Kent's Chapel at Brave, PA.
Surviving is his second wife, Margie Dulaney Russell; two sons Robert Russell and Doug Russell, both of Nashville, TN; two step-sons, John Stewart and Jeff Stewart, both of Waynesburg, PA; three daughters, Robin Ammons of Wadestown, Bobbie Baysinger of Waynesburg, PA, and Susan Haught of Wheeling, WV; two brothers, Earl Russell of Wadestown and Charles Russell of Brave, PA; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Deloris Russell; one grandson, Jeramy Baysinger; and a brother who died as an infant.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 6-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with the Rev. Kathy Higgins officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Bank Cemetery, Pine Bank, PA.
