RONALD H. WHARTON
Ronald H. Wharton, 78, of Littleton, WV died Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Fairmont Medical Center.
He was born February 15, 1942 at Littleton, WV a son of the late Raymond F. Wharton and Pauline Crow Wharton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn L. Wharton, whom he married on September 21, 1974; and one brother Harry “Sonny” Wharton.
Ron was a United States Army Veteran. After serving in the military he worked for Viking Glass. He also worked on the pipelined before going to work on the railroad in 1969. He retired in 2009 with 40 years of railroad service.
Surviving are four sons, Dan & Denise Braddock, Robert & Carolyn Morris, Frank Morris, and William “Bill” & Lisa Wharton; two daughters, Katherine & Charles “Chub” Soles and Phyllis & Robert Pauly. Grandchildren, Kayla Payton, Frank Morris, August Morris, Levi Morris, Hayley Morris, Hayden Morris, Ethan Morris, Zachary Braddock, Brittany Snider, Hunter Goff, and Skylar Goff. Two brothers, John R. Wharton, Sr. and Larry M & Rhonda Wharton; great-grandchildren, Kylee Morris, Addy Freeman, Aiden & Brantley Morris, Chase Morris, Rebel Morris, Jase Morris, Shiloh Morris, and Julian Snider.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 4-6 PM on Saturday, November 28, 2020. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.

So sorry for your loss. As you know, I just lost my brother Dave. Your dad was like a dad to him. I will always cherish Ron and your family for everything you all have done with and for Dave. It will never get easier to handle this loss, you just have to find your own way to cherish the time you had with him and accomplish everything he has pushed you to do in life. My thoughts and prayers are always with you.
Deepest heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Ron was a hardworking man who loved all his family.. I will forever cherish the memories of all the times we as a family spent cooking out, camping, waterslides, etc.. He will be greatly missed.. RIP Ronny. <3
