Ronnie L. Rush, 68, of Wana, WV died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at his residence.
He was born September 28, 1940 at Wana, WV a son of the late Wilbur E. Rush and Violet Jones Rush.
Ronnie was a retired service man for Hope Gas Company. He was a member of Morgantown Moose Lodge #264 and a member of the Wana United Methodist Church.
He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Surviving are one son and his spouse, Bobby Lee and Raina Rush of Wana; one daughter and her spouse, Sherry Lynn and David Nestor of Wana; two brothers, David Rush of Wadestown and Danny Rush of Wana; and five grandchildren, Tera Jean Dunbar and her husband Chris; Haley Nicole Rush, Casey Lee Rush, Riley Nestor and Brady Owen Nestor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eilene M. Rush, who died on August 13, 2001; and a brother, Bobby Joe Rush.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Monday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Tuesday with Chaplin Bradley Corob officiating. Interment will follow in the Olive Cemetery at Pentress.
