Ronnie Price, 76, of Fairview, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence.
He was born June 11, 1939 at Wadestown, a son of the late Clarence Price and Indiana Cross Price.
Mr. Price was a retired coal miner and former employee of the Blacksville #1 Mine. He was a member of Grace Fellowship in Wana.
He was an active horseback rider. He was an active member and past president of the Daybrook Saddle Club. Ronnie loved fishing, coon hunting, and riding horses with his granddaughters. He loved hanging out with friends and family. He was a great “BS’er” who never met a stranger. He loved spending time with his grandson and spending quality time with his other grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Judith Price; two sons, Ronnie “Mitch” Price and Marty Price and Christina Trump, all of Fairview; two daughters, Marsha Skinner and husband Aaron and Merci Ruth all of Fairivew; one brother, Charles Price of Daybrook; one sister, Brenda Towns of Cassville; one half-sister, Freda Stiles of Wadestown; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Mark Price; one granddaughter, Kayla Price; three brothers, James Price, Jesse Price, and Wesley Price; and one sister, Imogene Chisler.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Saturday with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Pappy’s Cemetery near Wadestown.
