Ruby M. Barr, 72 of Metz, WV (Earnshaw Community) died Friday, September 29, 2006 in the Wetzel County Hospital in New Martinsville.
She was born February 23, 1934 at Everson, WV a daughter of the late Nathan Ray Wright and Eva Melton Wright.
Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Thomas Chapel United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Bae Barr; three sons & daughters-in-law, Kenneth & Debbie Barr of Paden City; Bobby & Kathleen Barr of New Martinsville, Tracy & Barbara Six of Burton; one daughter & son-in-law, Diann & Ray Schnegg of Clarington, Ohio; one sister & brother-in-law, Ruth & Carter Main of New Cumberland, WV; six grandchildren, Sara Link, Shawna Barr, Jay Barr, Tim Barr, Josh Miller, and Jason Schnegg; one great-grandchild, Jimmy Barr; and a special friend, Betty Link.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph Wright, George Wright, Nathan Wright, Jr. and Arnold Wright; and a nephew, Wayne Schleinger.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Saturday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:30PM Sunday with the Rev. Arles Wade officiating. Interment will follow in the Yost Cemetery near Hundred.
