RUTH ANN HARDESTY

          Ruth Ann Hardesty, 81, a resident of the Arbors at Fairmont Nursing Home and formerly of Hundred died Thursday, May 28, 2020 in the nursing facility.

          She was born October 26, 1938 at Burton, WV a daughter of the late Robert Moore and Lucille Jane Delaney.

          Ruth was a homemaker all of her life.

          Surviving are four sons, Jeff Leary and his wife Saavik of Maine; Michael Leary; Daniel Hardesty of Fairmont and Shawn and his wife Daphne Hardesty also of Fairmont; one daughter, Tara Lee Leary; six grandchildren which include Athena Hardesty and Xander Hardesty; and six brothers, Robert Moore, Lynn Moore, Randy Moore, John Moore, James Moore, and Billie Moore.

          In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jamie Hardesty.

          A private graveside service will be held for family members only.  Evangelist Steve Stevens will officiate the service and burial will be in Cunningham Memorial Gardens in Burton.   

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
