RUTH ANN WISE

          Ruth Ann Wise, 79, of Washington, PA died Thursday, August 13, 2026 at her residence.

          She was born November 19, 1946, at Pittsburgh, PA, a daughter of the late James R. Wyckoff and Mary C. McGowan Wyckoff.

          Ruth Ann was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.

          Surviving is one son, Donald Wise (Carolyn) of Rogersville, PA; one daughter, Dianna Simms of Washington, PA; one brother, John H. Wyckoff of Magnolia, OH; one sister, Ila Marie Wyckoff of New Freeport, PA; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Andy” Wise who died on June 7, 2021; one son, Andrew David Wise; one son-in-law, Eric Simms; four brothers, Thomas Wyckoff, Harry Wyckoff, James R. Wyckoff Jr., and James N. Wyckoff; three sisters, Minnie Yoss, Elizabeth E. Wilcox, and Cora Soles; one great-granddaughter, Ava Simms; and three siblings that died as infants.

          Friends and family may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday.  Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery, Ned, PA.
