Ruth Greathouse, 83, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at her residence.
She was born March 8, 1926 at Wileyville, WV, a daughter of the late James Greathouse and Ola Greathouse Greathouse.
Miss Greathouse was a homemaker and she was a member of the Low Gap Community Church of Knob Fork.
Surviving are one brother, Jake Greathouse, of Weirton; four sisters, Nettie Greathouse of Burton, Madge Baker of Wileyvllle, Mary Jane Hawkins of New Martinsville, and Gladys Burdine of Hundred; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Dutch Greathouse, and one infant sister.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred from 2-4 & 7-9 Thursday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Friday with the Rev. Everett Shreve officiating. Interment will follow in the Dulaney Cemetery near Wileyville.
