Sandra Lynn Butcher Cunningham, 69, of Bridgeport, died Saturday, March 29, 2014 in the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.

She was born May 15, 1944 at Hundred, WV, a daughter of the late Arthur L. Butcher and Mary Olive Lemasters Butcher.

Mrs. Cunningham worked for Hills Department Stores for many years. She was a graduate of Hundred High School.

Surviving are her children; Penny Lynn Novak and her husband Gary and Troy Lee Cunningham and his wife Patricia; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard Lee Butcher and his wife Garnet; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia Ann Delaney and her husband Jack; two sister-in-laws, Rosie Butcher and Pamela J. Conaway; five granchildren, Jennifer Cogar and her husband Mike, Jami O'Dell and her husband Timmy, Andrew Cunningham and his wife Brooke, Shane Novak, and Paige Novak; and two great-grandchildren, Kobi Allen O'Dell and Bently Karter O'Dell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Keith Cunningham; one son, Michael Perry Cunningham; one brother, Ralph H. Butcher; a brother-in-law, Larry Conaway; one grandson, Jamison Allen O'Dell; and two daughters-in-law, Laurie Cunningham and Leann Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held at the Evangel Baptist Church, Airport Road, Bridgeport, WV at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 5, 2014 with the Pastor Jeff Ramsey officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.

Sandra's ashes will be buried in the Sancho Cemetery near Hundred at a later date.

The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
