SARA WHITEHILL
Sara Lou Whitehill, 85, of Spraggs, PA died Wednesday, March 27, 2019 in the Rolling Meadows Nursing Home in Waynesburg, PA.
She was born April 1, 1933 at Spraggs, PA, a daughter of the late Worley Stiles and Ossie Mae Brock Stiles.
Mrs. Whitehill was a homemaker.
Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jeffrey Whitehill and his wife Beverly of Spraggs, PA and Carl Wilbur Whitehill also of Spraggs; one brother, Jim Stiles of Jane Lew, WV; and three sisters, Anna Ruth Barr of Daybrook, Elizabeth “Sis” Bloom of Connellsville, PA, and Karen Francis of Jane Lew, WV.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Wilbur Whitehill and two brothers, Ken Stiles and Don Stiles.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-8 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.
Interment will follow in the Blacksville Cemetery.
So sorry for your loss: Jeff and Wilbur! She was a great lady. I enjoyed talking to her we would make copies for her once a month at the insurance office. Also guys you had a wonderful kind father.
