STEVEN P. SAMS

          Steven P. Sams, 68, of (Knob Fork Community) Littleton, WV died June 17, 2026 at his residence. 

          He was born July 9, 1957 at Fort Ord, California, a son of the late Harry C. Sams and Bodil Irene Spilhaug Sams.

          Steve was retired from the United States Navy.

          Surviving is his wife, Brenda Hanshaw Sams; two sons, Steven P. Sams II, of Littleton and Michael Sams of Morgantown; one daughter, Kyle Sams of Littleton; two brothers, Bobby Sams of Hawaii and Keith Sams of Louisiana; and one sister, Tina Sams.

          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings.

          At Steve’s request he will be cremated and there will not be any services.

          The Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred is in charge of arrangements.
