SYLVIA J. EDDY

            Sylvia J. Eddy, 72, of Daybrook died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends.

            She was born November 22, 1945 in Marion County, the daughter of the late Joseph Francis Fluharty and Edna Virginia Fordyce Fluharty.

            Surviving are her children, one daughter Lisa Eddy Barnette and husband Jeff of Core, and one son Larry Eddy of Wright City, Missouri; two brothers, Bill Fluharty of Fairview and Thomas “Buck” Fluharty of Oviedo, Florida, and two sisters, Ethel Oates of Littleton and Opal McCourt of Sutton; four grandchildren, Tyler Barnette and wife Hunter of Westover, Aaron Barnette and wife McKayla of Core, Nathan Eddy and Megan Eddy, both of Wright City, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.

            In addition to her husband Jack and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Nicoletti and a sister-in-law, Mona Fluharty.

            At the request of the deceased, services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will follow in the Daybrook Cemetery.

            The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and aides of Amedisys Hospice (Jennifer Vanin, Sabrina Gafeny, Yvonne Nang, Jennifer Adkins, Emily Crow, Tammy Sollon, Jenny Childers, and Rachel Frazee).
