TAMMY LOU SPENCER

          Tammy Lou Spencer wife of Jimmy Spencer of New Freeport, PA passed away on January 9, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. 

          She was a life-long resident of New Freeport, PA.

          She loved her family and friends, flowers, and animals.  She was someone who never met a stranger.

          Surviving in addition to her husband a daughter, Nicole Lou; two sons, Luke W. and Samuel L. both of New Freeport; four grandsons, Ethan, Gage, Lucas, and Jimmy Ray; two granddaughters, Dalton and Anna May; and one great-grandson, Liam.

          Also surviving are three sisters, Donna McElroy of New Freeport, PA, Harriet Tustin of Knob Fork, and Kathy Humphrey of Zanesville, Ohio; four brothers, Ralph (Kathy), Harold (Lori), and John, all of New Freeport, and James Gilbert of Pittsburgh; one brother-in-law, Raymond Tredway; and many nieces and nephews.

          Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Lindsey Gilbert Sr. and Harriet Kimble Gilbert; two sisters, Ethel (Tuffy) Tredway and Janice Crawford Herndon; two brothers, Francis (Buster) and Lindsey (Buck) Gilbert; and one great-grandson, Spencer Lee Timmons.

          Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home, 2678 Hornet Highway, Hundred, WV from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery near Garrison, PA.
