Thomas Lee Strawn, 58, of Keswick, Virginia died unexpectedly on September 9, 2016 of a cardiac arrhythmia.
He was born November 22, 1957 in Waynesburg, PA, the son of the late Edward Strawn and Flossie Rogers Strawn.
Thomas graduated from Waynesburg High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the United States Army from March 1977 to March 1980 and served in Germany. He was an HVAC contractor and owned Strawn Heating and Air in Charlottesville, VA.
He is survived by his former wife, Sylvia New Strawn of Charlottesville, VA; brother Edgar Strawn and his wife Mary V. Clark of Industry, PA; sister Susan Foote and husband Warren of Salem, OR; many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Dorothy J. O’Neill and Ethel Mayle.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV on October 1, 2016 from 12:00 Noon to 1:30 PM. A Memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM. A military burial will be at the Blacksville Cemetery.
