Timothy Allen Roush, 24, of Wana, WV died Monday, December 7, 2015 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown of injuries sustained in an automobile accident earlier that day.
He was born December 4, 1991 at Morgantown, a son of Allen Roush of Wana and Tracie White Butcher and her husband Rodney of Rivesville.
Tim was an organ donor. By his death he gave the gift of life to five different people. Through these people Tim will live on for many years. Tim was our “Hero”.
His favorite hobbies were fishing, playing video games, and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents is one son, Mason Roush of Wana, who was his pride and joy. He was a very loving and caring father. Also surviving is his paternal grandmother, Betty Roush of Wana, with whom he made his home; the mother of his child, Brittany Swiger of Jane Lew; two sisters, Kayla Roush and her fiance Steven Williams of Fairmont and Arieka “Ike” Roush of Rivesville; two uncles, Arthur Roush of Spraggs, PA and Jeff Roush of Wana; five aunts, Ruth Fitzgerald of Morgantown and Becky King of Wadestown, Joyce Deusenberry, Beverly Alvarez, and Carol Gallagher, all of Morgantown; the Godfather of his son, Joey Travinski of Morgantown; and numerous cousins and a host of friends.
Tim was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Al Roush and by his maternal grandparents, Orson White and Janet White.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home, 5894 Mason-Dixon Highway, Blacksville, WV from 6-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday with Pastor Steve Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in the Eakin-Wana Cemetery at Wana.
