Tommy Burnfield, 14, of Buckeye Road, Core, WV died Thursday, October 6, 2005 at his residence.
He was born July 28, 1991, a son of David P. Burnfield of Greensburg, PA and Carolyn Forquer of Core.
Tommy was an 8th grade student at Clay-Battelle High School. He had wrestled for the Clay-Battelle youth wrestling team. He attended the youth group at the Jakes Run Assembly of God.
Surviving in addition to his mother and adoptive father; are his biological father and his wife, Eddie and Melody Sine of Jakes Run; his adoptive step-mother, Holly Burnfield of Greensburg, PA; his step-father, Rodney Forquer of Core; grandparents, Kay and Melvin Eddy of Jakes Run, Edna and Scott McAninch of Blacksville, Betty and Everett Sine of Jakes Run, Sally and Stanley Burnfield of Greensburg, PA, Richard and Dianna Forquer of Core; his great-grandmother, Johnette Shriver of Marianna, PA; two step-brothers, one step-sister, and a half-sister, Becca Burnfield of Greensburg, PA.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Sunday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 1:00 PM Monday with the Pastor Rob Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in the Phillips Cemetery near Spraggs, PA.
