Virginia C. Hixenbaugh, 86, of Burton, WV died Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at her residence following a lenghtly illness.
She was born November 30, 1915 at Burton a daughter of the late Lewis Wetzel and Bezzie Bartrug Hixenbaugh.
Ms. Hixenbaugh was a homemaker and a protestant by faith.She was the last surviving member of her family.She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Mammie Hixenbaugh, Mildred Hixenbaugh and Bertha Sanney; seven brothers, Robert Hixenbaugh, Sr., Clarence Hixenbaugh, Brady Hixenbaugh, Tom Hixenbaugh, Joseph Hixenbaugh, Virgil Hixenbaugh and John Hixenbaugh.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 7-9 PM Thursday.Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Friday with Evangelist Steve Stevens officiating.Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery at Burton.
