Virginia Lee Stewart, 83, of Hundred, WV died Monday, April 30, 2007 at home.
She was born June 25, 1923 at Burton, WV a daughter of the late John H. Maple and Ellen Hunt Maple.
Virginia was a homemaker, a lifelong member of the Harmony Baptist Church and active in the mission society.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Samuel Stewart, in 1985, and a brother, John L. Maple.
Virginia is survived by three children: Samuel Stewart and his wife Babs of New Martinsville, Steve Stewart and his wife Myra of Stephens City, VA, and Nancy L. Stewart of Stephens City, VA; a special family friend, Dr. Wynn Hill of Stephens City, VA; four grandchildren, Amy Haller, Julie Meholovitch, Matthew Stewart, and Jennifer Rust; and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Tennant Funeral Home in Hundred, WV from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Wednesday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Thursday with Pastor Linda Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Harmony Cemetery.
