Virginia Rose Husk, 76, of Macdale Community, Blacksville, WV died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at her residence.
She was born July 28, 1929 at Miracle Run, a daughter of the late James Tuttle and Irene Bane Tuttle.
Rose was co-owner of Blacksville Garage and a member of the Blacksville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards with family and friends.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph Husk, Jr, They would have been married 59 years on May 10, 1947. One son & daughter-in-law, Mark and Hallie McLeod-Husk, of Fairmont; one daughter and son-in-law, Beth & Keith Knotts of Blacksville; one grandson, Collin Tyler Knotts; two brothers, Fred Tuttle of Blacksville and James A. Tuttle of (Miracle Run) Fairview; and three sisters, Mona Joy Copeland of Pentress, Lydia Wilkinson, of Carmichaels, PA and Rita Mae Brummage of Blacksville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack Tuttle and John Tuttle; two sons, James Carl Husk and Richard Lynn Husk; and one daughter, June Marlene Husk.
Friends may call at the Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville from 2-4 & 7-9 PM Friday. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11:00 AM Saturday. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Morgantown.
